you and to help our planet. The organic and natural plant ingredients we use to support our hive products have been extracted
without chemicals and as part of the sustainable agriculture movement, we strive to buy and use domestic ingredients that
are not decimating local ecosystems and are readily renewable. Our bee hive management practices are certified organic
by Certified Naturally Grown. Our honey and hive products are as pure as they can possibly be given the foraging nature
of our honeybees who may travel up to four miles from our farm.
We don't like any of the definitions of natural and organic ingredients
out there so we've developed our own strict, ethical standard:
Plant or mineral based ingredients that come from readily
renewable resources.
No chemicals, no petroleum derivatives, no synthetic isolates, no replications of plant compounds,
no cosmeceuticals, no bioceuticals, no added alpha or beta hydroxy acids, hyaluronic acids, vitamin esters, wheat, gluten
or corn ingredients.
Obtained through
methods that do not require the use of harsh, un-natural chemicals or excessive heat.
No handling
practices that will adversely effect the quality of the raw end product.
Have no suspected potential human health
risks.
Products labeled organic must be certified organic by a reputable agency.
When there is no viable natural alternative available, the substance must have been derived
from naturally occurring raw materials and possess no known health risks.
No sourcing from companies that do animal testing.
In addition, we believe products should be holistic, beneficial therapies
with solid, scientific evidence to back up any claims. The research should be readily available to the consumer for review.
Every ingredient should be listed on the label and
in company promotional material, including websites.
